Educational use, not professional advice

GramViva is a free reference for general English-language learning. The lessons, examples, and quizzes are intended to support self-study and classroom teaching. They are not a substitute for certified language instruction, professional editing, or proofreading where the stakes (legal, academic, commercial) require a qualified human in the loop.

Content accuracy

We work to keep the content accurate and to validate explanations against established grammar references, but we do not guarantee that every rule, example, or quiz answer is free of error. For high-stakes use — published writing, examinations, immigration paperwork — please verify against an authoritative grammar reference or a qualified instructor.

Intellectual property

The site's content — including the rules, explanations, examples, quizzes, and the overall arrangement and presentation — is © Derek Cowan / GramViva. You are welcome to read, share links to, and quote short extracts of the content for personal study or classroom use. Commercial reproduction, mirroring, bulk download, or redistribution requires prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise access the site at a rate or volume that disrupts service for other users.
• Attempt to circumvent the site's security or rate-limiting measures, or probe it for vulnerabilities other than through responsible disclosure to the contact address below.
