When to Use Comparative Adjectives
- •Comparing two things: She is taller than her brother.
- •Short adjectives (1 syllable): add -er (tall → taller, fast → faster).

- •Two-syllable adjectives ending in -y: change to -ier (happy → happier).
- •Irregular: good → better, bad → worse, far → farther/further.
How to Form Comparative Adjectives
